Nicolas Cage as Knight in ‘Season of the Witch’

The film "Season of the Witch" is an upcoming supernatural thriller starring Nicholas Cage in the main role is being directed by Dominic Sena. This is the second film in Sena and Cage combination, who previously worked for ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’. Charles Roven is producing the film. The movie has been written by Bragi Schut Jr.

Currently, the film’s shooting is progressing in Austria and is set in 14th century. The movie is also featuring Claire Foy and Ron Perlman (Hellboy). The film is about a group of knights escorting the girl who’s believed to be the witch responsible for spreading the Black Plague.

‘Knowing’ from the director of I, Robot

The film ‘Knowing’ is an upcoming science fiction film starring Nicolas Cage in the lead role is directed by Alex Proyas. Earlier, he directed ‘The Crow’, ‘Dark City’, ‘Garage Days’, and ‘I, Robot’. The script has been was written by Ryne Douglas Pearson, Juliet Snowden), Stiles White and Stuart Hazeldine. The flick was shot in the locales of Boston, Melbourne, Australia.

The movie is about the contents of a time capsule at his son's elementary school makes predictions of the future that have come true. The predictions lead the teacher to believe the world is ending, and that he and his son are involved in the apocalypse. Summit Entertainment is distributing the film and is set to release on March 20th, 2009.
