‘Julie and Julia’ is an upcoming film starring Amy Adams and Meryl Streep in the lead roles is both written and directed by Nora Ephron. The flick is based on the book ‘Memoir Julie and Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen’ by Julie Powell.
Meryl Streep is playing the role of a deceased TV chef Julia Child and Amy is essaying the character of cooking guide, who decides to cook all of the famous chef’s recipes, and important lessons about life and good proper soup. Columbia Pictures is distributing the film and is set to release on April 17, 2009.
