The film ‘Friday the 13th’ is a horror movie starring Derek Mears, Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker and Amanda Righetti in the lead roles. Marcus Nispel of ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ and ‘Pathfinder’ fame is directing film and Michael Bay is the producer. Derek Mears is playing the role of Jason Voorhees in the film. The film is a remake of Sean S. Cunningham's 1980 horror flick of the same name. It has been written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift.
The flick is about Jason Voorhees-a strange killer, who is systematically murdering the teenage camp counselors and causing havoc at Camp Crystal Lake. The flick is set to release on February 13th, 2009.
